Larry Kohler has been providing innovative marketing and financial strategies to land owners and developers for more than twenty-five years. His focus has been weaving conservation techniques throughout the development processes – from acquisition through sell-out resulting in extracting the maximum return on investment from each land asset. Understanding that real estate development is marketing driven but economically controlled, he advocates conservation techniques as critical components of today’s planning models. He has been involved in several hundred properties with a conservation component and has spoken on the subject to trade, marketing, financial, and real estate organizations. Larry graduated from the University of North Carolina System, spent two years in the United States Army, and served in the Vietnam Conflict. For the last forty years, he has worked as an independent advisor.
