Contessa Castañeda has a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Georgia State University. Ms. Castañeda joined EcoVest Capital, Inc. in March 2020 as a Senior Accountant. Prior to joining Ecovest, Ms. Castañeda was a Senior Associate within the Alternative Investment Solutions division of State Street Corporation, responsible for real estate fund administration services for open-ended funds.  From 2008-2014, Ms. Castañeda was a Fund Accountant at Jamestown Properties in their Atlanta firm, where her major focus was analyzing joint venture financial reporting for core funds. Ms. Castañeda previously worked at Hines, a property management firm, from 2003 to 2007 primarily focusing on real estate property accounting.
